we are chinese and if we're at a restaurant, we use the chopsticks. If my wife just cooks a rice dish at home, we find it easier to use forks. At restaurants, you typically have to request the forks...

Normal dinner, etc. I eat rice with a fork. Sometimes I'll just have a bowl of rice as a snack and eat it with a spoon.

Chinese rice and Uncle Ben's are hard.
