make sure you double check it while still at the window so you hold up the line for everyone else.
thats one of my pet peeves, PULL FOWARD to double check your bag.
indeed
Ummm it takes an extra 10 seconds to check the bag. If something's wrong with your order, you could just tell them right there instead of having to park your car and go in the store. What would be the point of the drive-thru then ? Pulling forward to check doesn't solve anything except the next person's impatience for 10 extra seconds.

thats exactly what it solves.
my impatience for 10 seconds. if you were in front of me, i would be cursing you out for sitting there like an inconsiderate jackass. if its messed up when you pull forward, you go back around.
WTF ? If it happens to you, I'm sure you'll gladly go back around the drive-thru. 10-seconds buddy. Get over yourself. Your time isn't that important.

i have before and its my time. i could say, its just a burger or a taco. your food isnt that important. get over yourself.
it sort of defeats the purpose of a drive thru, since it supposed to be quicker when you sit there double checking your food, then bitching when they put a pickle on your burger or a shred of lettuce in your taco or whatever and making everyone wait that much longer.

Yes I check it every time..

One time it was my wife's "ladies days" and we were in a hurry to meet a bunch of people who were meeting us out. I ran to Taco Bell real quick, and didn't check the bag.. Needless to say when I got home all of my food was in there, and nothing of hers.. She yelled and then cried. (LOL 😛) Of course she wouldn't eat mine, even though I offered it to her, because it wasn't what she ordered.

So lesson learned, I always check it now. AT THE WINDOW.

It's important if I pay for it and don't get it. I'm not talking about a pickle or lettuce. I'm talking about an entirely missing item. THAT MUCH LONGER ? You've got issues. I thought I was impatient in traffic with rubberneckers... here you are cursing at people at the drive-thru lines for making you wait an extra 10 seconds. God forbid they have to put their change away too. You're hilarious.

i know
im also impatient & opinionated.
:lips:
10:1 I'm more impatient than you are. I've gotten into fights with my fiancee about my impatience. This whole deal is about doing what's practical... not about being considerate to the people behind you who are spaced out till they get their chance at the window.

YEs I do I ussually send who ever is there with me in side when the mess up and get some free food though.

i always check because they've fvcked it up before. a couple weeks ago they tried to shortchange me when i paid with bills and coins. they kept insisting that they're correct. so i had to show them how 20.70 minus 4.64 is 16 and change, not 15 and change.

I check if I order 3-5 items. I'm too lazy to check if I order more and If I only order 1 or 2 items, a screw up will be in my favor, hopefully...

Wendys seems to have some mission to get people to pick up their order without having to stop. As you drive up to pay, they have change in hand, prepared for whatever denomination you could possibly give. Next window... they have a manager breathing down the neck of the employee watching them do their duty. They're actually quite good at it. Except I slow them down by checking the bag... and they just stand at the window staring at you thinking to themselves... move along you retard. We got business to do here...

They always get their balls busted because they are supposed to have their average time from pull up (reaching the speaker) to completion (you leaving the window) at less than 90 seconds, NO MORE than 120 seconds. Can't blame you for looking through your bag, but they wait there in case you need anything else, they can get it for you right away, rather than getting started on someone else's order and having to stop and make you (and in turn them) wait.

So they aren't standing there because they think you are an idiot or anything, they're just making you priority, because at the time you have been there the longest. 🙂

Always. Most fast food places around here are accurate about a 2/3rds of the time, the other third there's a screw-up of some sort ranging from a missing item to the completely wrong bag. And you can't trust Taco Bell at all, it's like the employees have to pay for the sauce packets out of their own pockets. Order 4 items with extra hot sauce and they'll toss in 2 packets total. I usually have to ask 3 or 4 times to get enough.
