Only if I'm trying to boil water or flash toasting tortillas.

It depends what I'm making ... usually for me "cooking" refers to grilling, and i usually don't have all my burners on, and usually, I use medium, however, for burgers, II use high.

Gas rules, electric sucks!
That's only if your gas burners are hot enough. My current electric range is faster at heating than my old gas.

Agreed.

I can't remember the last time I used high. It has to be over a year...and I cook almost every night.

HOLY CRAP! 28 percent of the population needs to be taught a few lessons.

At least with gas you have control over the temp. With electric it is a comply guess how much heat the element is making. Also electric sucks because when turned off the pan can still get siginificant amount of heat.

Nope. I use All-Clad and you're not supposed to cook on high with those. They heat very well. If you know how to cook, you don't have to use high for normal cooking

Pretty much everything yes. I'd rather have my food now than have it good in 5 minutes.

I use the Forman grill for most stuff... but for eggs, temp is key. Medium temp = nice and fluffy, High temp = burnt and hard and yuckfest.

They are great. Me and my wife purchased a 12 piece set about 4-5 months ago. You have to use something to coat the pans, so they dont stick. But they spread the heat out great and they're a joy to cook with. Enjoy them :D
