lol I'm a mishmash of political beliefs. Libertarian on some, conservative on others, and liberal on others. I've had a hard time finding one candidate I can wholeheartedly support.

This doesn't have to do with being a moderate. Non-moderate conservatives and liberals and moderates could all do this.

Actually since I am a Centrist Moderate Republician and the movement of the GOP party is now
so extreme right with the influence of the Evangelical Christians, I am probably in their eyes
a leftist commie pinko bastard liberal tree hugging f@g waver.

But that's their problem, not mine. Someday what's left of the party will throw out these false prophets,
and the party might just be able to gain back the credability that they threw away. Everything goes in
cycles, and when you piss off enough of the public the paybacks are hell.

I don't consider myself a moderate. On economic issues I'm pretty middle of the road, but I feel my very left social views put me out of the mainstream. I would consider myself Libertarian if it didn't require me to be hard core right on economic issues.

I also notice a lot of liberals who claim to NOT be moderate, as evidenced by the fact that non-moderates are the majority in this poll, yet conservatives are the minority on P&N. Are you saying those liberals (and/or conservatives) aren't moderate?

[Edit] To clarify, there are a few issues with one extreme side that I feel very strongly about.

I'll defend my views on those issues when the need arises but as my stance on those few pet issues don't fall neatly along party lines, they balance me back to moderate
