Not really. I'm a parent but my daughter is too young to be making movie-going decisions anyway, she's 4. Even when she gets older though, I really won't care too much about it. Since I'm an avid movie-goer, chances are good that I'll know about whatever movie she wants to see and my parental decisions won't be based upon what the movie is rated.
and lol at meltdown75, he's referring to the rating by the motion picture industry (G, PG, R, etc.) not what it's rated at Rotten Tomatoes.
