I must say I never compete in any contest or drawings because I never feel I'll win, is this just my loser spirit or am I logical?

Used to but now I don't bother. Just seems to be another method for companies to get your personal info.

Nope...just a big shuck and jive scam. Publishers Clearing House among the worst. A full dumpster of apps was discovered in NY. They threw out all the app's that didn't subscribe to something.

Only one I bother with is the ones from APC. Would be nice to win one of their contests. They have a lot of good stuff in them.

Most drawings are just ways for companies to compile lists for spam, telemarketing, and mail lists.

If you've ever seen a telemarketing company, look at their leads... they're almost always forms from contests and drawings.

When I was a kid I used to fill out the publishers clearinghouse sweepstakes dealies. The number of things you had to do for those was ridiculous, in addition to my name, phone number, and address, I once had affix 2 stickers, and mark where my house would be on a diagram of an intersection. Yeesh.
