No. If the universe is expanding then it can't be infinite because it's getting bigger all the time.

Considering they've found the edges of the universe already, I'll say no, it's not infinite. Just very large and growing.

In order to find the edge of something, you have to define boundaries and the difference between inside the boundary and outside of the boundaries. How is it possible to know that the universe has boundaries, but not know what is beyond it? What is the boundary? What makes up the boundary? Is it a large white picket fence??

Considering the current armchair astronomy articles I've read lately I have to say science seems to currently be strongly leaning towards finite.

It is infinite in the same way as no matter how far west you travel there is still an infinite amount of west... The universe, imo, just is a giant sphere basically.

No universe is still expanding which only means matter and energy is finite.
However, the space seems to go on forever. Maybe if there is an end to all that space, it's where all the dead people
and formal Cowboys go

i'm going with no, its not infinite but until it starts collapsing you'll never reach the edge... even when that happens it will probably be impossible...

Definition:

u-ni-verse - All matter and energy, including the earth, the galaxies, and the contents of intergalactic space, regarded as a whole

outer space
Any region of space beyond limits determined with reference to the boundaries of a celestial body or system, especially: a.The region of space immediately beyond Earth's atmosphere. b. Interplanetary or interstellar space.

Never actually looked up the definitions before. I was thinking space was all the stuff outside of our planet when I asked the question.

It's all relative. Our universe is just an experiment in a particle accelerator located in another dimension. God is actually some guy in a white lab coat.

...it is still expanding and when it expands to it's fullest it is going to contract back to the atom from which it came and BOOM! the whole process will start again....Big Bang II
