Well I'm pretty sure art majors do more actual work than you do, even though they study far less. Liberal arts could involve little studying, but I don't know since I'm first year.

if, by "actual work", you mean physical activity beyond turning pages, writing, typing, etc, sure. so? bottom line... time spent is far less than my cse brethren.

I sait art majors, not liberal arts. Art majors spend their time painting, sculpting, printing, whatever.

huh? You think we only talk about work at work? We may be engineers and what not but our workplace is more like a social gathering. Sure work gets done but in general we're usually cracking jokes, insulting one another, etc. I would definitely call it socializing.

I rarely socialize. I talk to the people in my class sometimes (because usually I am the one who has to help everyone) but other than that, I do not sit outside at school and talk to people, I have been going into the library between classes for the past four years. Once in a while I see someone I know and maybe I will go say hi to them but I usually find myself sitting around listening to people tell unintresting stories so I usually stay away from "socializing."

Edit: Actually some women from my class called me this morning to ask me how vector work but I still voted for more than a day because that is the norm outside of the immediate family.
