Poll: Did you get today (Columbus Day) off from school, work, other....?

I didn't get school off today because of fvcking g@y Pete WIlson decided "oh, well the students of California need more days of school, we'll extend schooling hours longer and take away their "student Free days" and other lesser known holidays, hahaha"

We use to have 8 student free days last 2 years, then it goes to 4, then this year, none. What a lovely human! If I had the chance to meet him face to face, I'd knock him out, what an ass!

Actually my dad told me it was Columbus day after all my classes were done.

you are so right, stupid pete wilson...after school (i'm in college...did people get columbus day off in college in the past?) i went to work, one of the secretaries was saying how when she called some companies they had the day off...my boss later sent me off to the library to do some research...but they were closed so i got the rest of the day off

so i did and didn't get the day off...
