[POLL] Did the Eagles choke?

I hardly call a 3 point game choking. it was pretty much even on both sides, both had mistakes and some sweet plays. pats ended up a field goal up. too bad.

He wasn't the only reason they lost, but he choked in the clutch. big time. 3 INTs at least two of which were terrible passes or terrible decisions (the last one is kind of excusable, but still unclutch).

Yea those 3 interceptions, along with some of the most god awful throws I've seen in a Superbowl didn't have any affect the game at all, right?

It wasn't entirely his fault, but his performance along with horrible clock management, and the defense not being able to stop the run lead to another Patriots Superbowl victory.

With 8 minutes left in the game and needing two scores, it didn't seem like McNabb really took time into consideration (the Eagles kept taking their sweet time in the huddle). McNabb didn't lose it for them, but he didn't win it for them, either, when he had a chance.

yup, but he shouldn't have even been in the position to need to win the game for the team. it was the secondary's fault. any time you have to throw over 50 passes, it's a bad thing. this whole game goes on the defense.

ahhhh... where you mention his time management skills- I agree 🙂 But they should have hurried it up well before it got to the 3 minute range.

So, was this McNabb's fault or Reid's?

Oh boy, here it comes. No, the Pat's didn't earn this one, they didn't outplay Philly for the entire 2nd hald

NE had them outplayed the 2nd half and shook up McNabb early in the game, that's not a choke, it's called intimidation

 I think your Pats championshio hat is on too tight, I think it's cutting off blood circulation to your brain.

I'll grant you that the Pats did a terrific job of containing the run though, and were clutch as usual, getting it done when it matters.
