I didn't get any gifts because we don't really follow the "traditions." However, I did get a bonus from the company, therefore , I can't say I didn't get anything for x-mas.

did anyone get absolutely nothing?

no gifts, money, cards, food...nothing?
 
i got a gift from the ATOT Secret Santa. it was EXACTLY what I wanted which was a donating to a no kill animal shelter. it made me very happy to see that.

i did not get anything else, and had nothing to open on Xmas... but at my age, it is not that much of a big deal.

I got a book from MOM and a $100 from work.

That about covers it...


It's cool though.

Xmas is for the kiddies anyway.

Funny thing this Christmas, my brother got his girlfriend "The DaVinci Code." She got him the same book...My aunt bought the same book for my uncle. All good though, great book.
 
Ah, good point, but that movie was a bit of a let-down considering it was Sandler. But I mean...it was an animated movie...

But yeah, little things for 8 days.
 
we don't celebrate xmas (or any holidays for that matter) so yeah no gifts for me either. but it's ok, I can buy myself things...

I had a co-worker that did the same thing. she couldn't celebrate any holidays or b-days. I feel bad for her kids 🙁

I think it's hilarious that the sum of our knowledge of hannukah comes from an Adam Sandler song. (I'm not going to look up the correct spelling, although I know there's about a dozen correct spellings)
 
Heh, I think my parents forgot about me this year. I went downstairs while everyone was exchanging gifts and didn't see any under the tree for me, and my mom gave my dad this WTF look then said "Oh, I think your present is upstairs" and came down with a check that was dated 12/25/05 lol. Of course I'm a starving college student, so cash and homecooked meals mean more to me than toys 😀
