POLL: Dell Axim X3i, should I purchase, any alternatives?

I can get the Dell Axim X3i w/ a Leather Case for $317.42. Should I pull the trigger on this or no? Is there a better PDA for the same money? I am looking for something to keep contact info on, surf the web, E-Mail, IM, notes, data/schedule information. I need to order before midnight tonight (EST)! Thanks!

Owned my X5 for about 6 months then got rid of it for the X3i, I wouldn't go back, it's a great PDA.

I'm in the same boat, a friend has that model and loves it but I am leaning towards a ipaq 4155

I currently own a X5. The X5 is way to big to carry around in pant pockets. How much smaller is the X3i?

The X3i is supposed to be quite a bit smaller, I had an X5 and liked it, but got rid of it when I found it was incompatible with PocketPC 2003.

mcveigh, thanks for the link, that's the deal I am talking about, unfortunately I have to add tax on top of that! I like the Compaq, but feel I get more for the money with the X3i, what exactly do you like better about the Compaq?

bluetooth, slightly smaller, I am new to the pocket pc world and feel there are more accessories for the ipaqs (just my undeucated thoughts)
the 4155 has the premium version of pocket pc 2003...not sure about dell

Ya, I like the idea of Bluetooth but highly doubt I'd ever use it, at least not as much as Wi-Fi. I'm still on the edge though, I really like the Dell, but want to be sure it's the best beforEI lay down $300 for it.
