me too. call him nutty, but Tom Cruise is still a great actor.

I agree 100%... I like him as an actor he's good, I don't care what he does in his personal life, that's his business. I go to a movie to see an actor do his job well.

MI3 was about as good as the first I thought, definitely better than the second. I like the director a lot too (J.J. Abrams).

The DaVinci Code. Not because I think Tom's a nut, because I couldn't really care any less. The book was good and I expect the movie to be half-decent.

ok, just got back...

when I got to the theater, I thought about what you guys said and decided to watch MI:3 instead...

I figure, a movie like MI:3 is for large screen theaters...and a movie like DVC can be seen on DVD.

anyways, MI:3 was worth the money. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, action was non-stop! I liked it! :)

Good... I saw Davinci Code yesterday, and I've read the book... I thought Davinci code was the most boring movie I've seen in a long time... I thought the book was pretty good though.

I thought MI3 was great! but this is what I honestly thought throughout the movies and those cool scenes.

[Man, 24 could have done that better, Jack Bauer would have done that better!]

I thought about the same thing, but I still saw MI:3. I guess DVC will have to wait until dvd.

King Kong, people said it was good, I wished I had 4 hours of my life back.
Da Vinci Code, people said it sucked, but I haven't read the book, now I want to.
MI:3, people say Tom's a nutjob, I say he's one hell of an actor.

I didn't read the book and I thought the movie was decent. It was entertaining at least.

The only problem I had with the movie was there were a couple times near the end where I thought the movie was going to be over, but it turned out it wasn't.

I kind of want to see MI3 as well, but I think I'll wait for the DVD. Renting it will save me about $5, plus watching it at home is pants-optional :D

Went and saw the Da Vinci Code. I've read the book but it was about a year or more ago.

The movie is good. Not great, but definitely good enough to see. The critics are on crack or are showing their religious bias.

I'm not sure if it's religious bias at all. I listened to the full-length audiobook, and the plot in there was much much more exciting. The girl in there (P.S?) was alot smarter too and cracked most of the code. Every character has their purpose and was layed out pretty well.

I know that a movie has time constrain to tell a story, but IMHO they did not do a great job of adapting the book.

that, or maybe I'm just bias. The voice actors / actresses in the audio books were much better ;)
