*Poll* Cufflinks

So I was watching the Oakland vs NE game tonight and they had to show Bob Kraft about a hundred times. And looking at him, it's hard not to notice his gawdy cufflinks.

You don't see young guys wearing cufflinks very often. Are they an old man's bling?

EDIT: i mean as every day attire. Not for just special occasions like at weddings or prom.

I'm gonna say yes. I don't think I've ever seen a younger guy wearing cufflinks.

I'd say that doesn't count. These guys wear them on a regular basis (e.g. to the office every day).

I wore them last month for a wedding I was in. They were part of the Tuxedo outfit. I found them to be really uncomfortable... kept poking into my wrists. However, they definitely went well with the Tux.

I say for special occasions only - and then not gaudy ones but something that actually works with the outfit.

IT. These days many of the shirts you buy come with cuff-style cuffs.

Edit: I live in a cosmopolitan-styled place in the UK, and it's all very fancy as the above poster said...

Yep. I wear them to work sometimes. Mostly when I am Consulting at a customer site tho. In my office it's jeans and a T shirt all day every day.

I wear cufflinks - you have to if you are wearing a shirt that has french cuffs rather than barrel cuffs.
