OK guys, I think i about have it down. A Counter-Strike clan match. Clan AnandTech([AT]), is going up against Young Faded Minds (|YFM|). These guys, at least the ones I challenged, are the following:

|YFM|The_Antipop

|YFM|DaveyWavey

|YFM|Doc (He changed his name to Bartender...watch out for this one, he is good....and with a Deagle...!!!)

The match should be on Jan 21, 2001.

I think those are the ones we are best on, so just choose from them.

Sorry guys, I can only accept the best for this match...I have a score to settle with these guys:)

wait, since when were you the "clan leader"?

and if you have something to settle with them, settle it by yourself and do'nt ask others to help you if it was your problem in the first place.

No offense, but I don't think you're one of the top peeps. Maybe I shouldn't say anything, since I KNOW I'm not :eek:

Hey Alpha, this is not a "get back at them" match, they have been insulting me/clan AT for awhile, and I figured we would "show" them.

And, there is NO clan leader, as I do not like "ranks" and such, cause it causes people to sometimes get mad/out of hand/ *cough* RUDE *cough*.....If you want to organize the clan, get things set up(IE, find people to make web page, find clans to challenge, set up practice times etc.), and you don't think I should have any authority in that, then don't hesitate to get lost.:D
I have no rank over people, but I am a self proclaimed "Team Leader", that does the above things.(I am only "a Team Leader" because no one else has voted for a new one) If you think the clan match shouldn't take place, then LMK. Lord_Maul_ed@yahoo.com is my email.

And you guys who are on the list, I would like you to practice on Neos server as much as possible(and Fir3Wir3, play "for real":D).
Pretender is good, and Urban Techie is good, but Fir3Wir3 and Android, IM-not so-HO, are a bit better.

You and Pretender(He said he was just kidding, but he said it twice, so i thin kther is a bit of resentment there...) don't think I should be Team Leader, so I guess I will just stop. Elect new ones( I think there should be 2, but if I am not a Team Leader, then do what you want...) guys, if you wish.

Yes GreenBeret, you are right. I am not anymore one of the "top peeps". I used to play counter-Strike about 2 hours a day+,(around the time of 6.0) and at the VERY LEAST once every other day. I would NEVER be anywhere but with the top score. Since then though, (that was about 3-4 months ago), I have been consentrating on other things, and this, to be truthful, is the first time I have activly played more than once a week/2 weeks since last summer. I STILL don't play that much. If I kept playing like I used to, I would be one of the top people. But I don't, so, therefore, I am not. See? :)

I think it's good someone is taking initiative. I just don't want anyone to think they 'run' anyone ;) I got no problem right now. :)

Who was that guy playing yesturday that was on top of the CS board? He was pretty good. Oh ya Lord Maul shouldn't play, he sucks :) jk. Seriously, is this a clan match or get back at your buddies clan and show them whos boss match?

Gather 'round and sit by the Fir3 and all that nice stuff...here is the story...

One time, in a galax...errr....once upon a time, I started playing CS. I was whooping the crap outta EVERYONE on this server. Then I see this dude say &quot;Hey Maul, wanna join Clan YFM?&quot; I said HELL YEA!, and I was in. In fact, they liked me so much that they put me into Colonel position right off the bat. I was one |3 /-\ |) @$$ dude:)
This went on for several months, then the leader started to be a total power freak(he is a 15 year old cry baby). So I quit. I formed Clan |SoBe|, named after my favorite drink. :)D). I sort of stopped playing CS for a while, and left it alone. Then you guys came along :)
YFM had been going in the game leuges, and doing pretty good. So, I went to their message board, and told them about the new clan I am in, buddy buddy like. Well, they came back with insults, and the whole &quot;you and your clan probably suck ass, eh?&quot;. So, I decided to challenge them, and use our best players to up-hold our clan's name. See guys? This is not really, to me, a personal grudge...

Maul used to be a top CS player. He used to KL33n up on CLAN servers,not just the public ones. His credentials are good.



And really if there is to be a Anandtech clan(however informal), I agree there should be NO leader. But it would be good for someone to organize matches against other clans. Nobody else is doing it so...





I on the otherhand have always sucked at CS. That's why name is not on that list. ;)

And the list is not meant to offend, it is just his pick of the players he would like to represent Anandtech in it FIRST clan match.
