We have three cordless phones in our house. Corded in the closet in case the power goes out. I can't see myself NOT using a cordless phone.

i have both in my room. YEAH MY ROOM...

the corded is next to my computer has built in caller ID, that's why i have that. it also has speaker phone =) i just needed a caller ID thing by my computer... so i got a cheap phone =)

the cordless is by my door, and has a separate caller ID thing. and i had that first... it also has speakerphone, and has a headset jack =) it's 900 MHz =)

the speakerphone is good for those LONG techsupport calls... i usually leave the speakerphone on while i am on hold, and go about my business ;-)

Cordless phone all the way. For nearly a decade I have had nothing but good experiences with Panasonic cordless phones.

Picked up my 900 MHz Panasonic cordless with dual keypads (on handset and base), speakerphone, 20 number memory, belt clip, headphones plus and headphones all for only $69 from my local CostCo.

CostCo still carries Panasonic cordless phones but I believe they're the newer 2.4GHz now. You can get a super freakin' awesome deal from OfficeMax if you play your cards right.

Cordless phone for me as well.. you have the freedom to move around. but of course, if you talked too much, you'll need to recharge the batteries between usage..

does a cell phone count as a cordless? :p cuz I don't have a landline here at school... just use my cell, IRC, and AIM :)

obviously cordless... but if there's ever a blackout.. those old school cord phones that only need to be plugged into the phoneline could be useful in those situations
