I spent about 20 min last night looking over most of the cases Coolermaster makes, out of those 2 the Wavemaster is nicer for sure but IMO there are better choices for that amount of money.

I ended up taking home the Praetorian because of its overall good clean cut looks and for its cooling ability.

The only other case I wanted more was the Lian-Li V1000 but @ 189 +tx its just more than I wanted to spend on a PC case right now.

The other Coolermaster case that had me interested was the Centurion , the 120mm fan in back and the all mesh front must make for some excellent cooling... it is also priced right, in the end though I did not take it because it is a little bit ugly.

The blue special edition Wavemaster is really sharp in person, if I had to get a Wavemaster id go for this one or maybe even the Yellow SE.

I think you have confused "ugly" with "beautiful". The Centurion looks great - it's got an understated elegant look, and it's not all riced out with these crap features like LEDs and Side Windows. Those things look so ridiculous. It's like people who put body kits and rims on their Hondas - plain ridiculous. The Centurion has a stately, professional look about it which is far better than most cases on the market.

I say Centurion. That's what I have and I love it :)

But, from the two choice you mentioned, I'd go with the WaveMaster.

I am debating about:

1) Coolermaster Centurion 5
2) Antec Super Lanboy
3) Antec Sonata

The pc is going to be used for gaming
MSI Neo2 Platinum
AMD 64 3200+ (skt 969) winchester
Graphics card (still looking)
2 HD's mostly SATA 80GB

anybody have the above cases and let me know which one is cooler, quieter.....???

The Centurion 5 is the quietest of the batch, I'd bet. I'm not sure which is the coolest. Here's Anand's review on the Centurion 5:

The Sonata is also a great case. I don't like the Lanboy because of it's riced out looks. The Sonata is nice and stately though, with a wonderful paintjob and great airflow when you add a second 120mm fan for intake (which, in my opinion, is not optional).

I'd say pick between the Centurion and the Sonata. The Sonata is probably a bit nicer looking, but either case should do fine for you.

Oh, one final note, the Cent 5 does not have a removable motherboard tray, if that's an issue for you...

this is the first time i will be installing a motherboard in a case, would that be difficult if the tray is not removable...otherwise i have to go with the sonata. I don't really care about looks as long as it is functionally ok, i should do fine. Would you suggest any other cases in my case at least below $100

Im on my 10th or so build and have never had a removable tray so you can get by ...I just bought my Coolermaster Praetorian last night and am excitedly awaiting the arrival of the Fedex truck today so I can assemble my new Athlon 64 rig.

The Praetorian is sweet, its light and nicely built with alot of attention to detail, the mobo tray is stout , thick aluminum and the chasis is beam style...its actually abit nicer than the Lian-Li PC60 IMO as I compared them side by side last night.

$99 at Newegg.

Here are some pics I just took...

The pics just dont do it justice, this is not cheap 1mm thick ,it 2mm! Most other all aluminum cases are about 1mm.
