In the interest of starting a good discussion about gaming, I've decided to make this poll to see which games you are looking forward to most this year. You can only vote for one, but feel free to discuss any others you can't wait to play. This poll encompasses the 3 major consoles. Thanks to the most current EGM mag for the games list.
The one I'm looking forward to most out of all of them is Gran Turismo 4. I endlessly played GT3: A-Spec, and got a whopping 73% complete before I tired of it. I had well over $5,000,000 in the bank, 63 (most rare or exotic) cars in the garage, all of the arcade beaten on every difficulty, all tracks unlocked in arcade, all of beginner circuit races beat in simulation mode, pretty much all amatuer circuit races beat, a few professional races beat, all rally races beat, all licenses acquired (even the S license), and 5 out of 10 endurance races completed. All races were won with gold medals, except the licenses, those are hard!
But Gran Turismo 4 all but promises online play, which puts it over the top. Here's to hoping they add many more cars (and not 'used' cars like in Gran Turismo 2) and completely new tracks. The recycling of tracks is getting old in the series, and I beleive they need something completely new. They should also definitely add support for a custom soundtrack to those who buy the hard drive when it's released.
A few others I can't wait to play this year (in no particular order):
Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker (just picked up the bonus disc this morning!)
Mario Kart
Star Fox Armada
Halo 2
Fable
Final Fantasy X-2
