I don't care.

I don't know you aside from reading your posts, and I think that you should do whatever you want. If someone posts something stupid, I ignore it for the most part. It doesn't take me any more effort to do that for 1 more person. ;)

Ahhh OK... my mistake.

It's fine to have your own opinion.. if everyone liked Vanilla, there wouldn't be a need for delicious chocolate now would there?? Defending your ideas is great, but perhaps a more mature (by this, I mean not throwing out insults like sucking on ropes and such.. :D) way of defending your opinion would be in order. Calling some a jackass because they like strip clubs and you don't, really doesn't win anyone to your side of the schoolyard.

If you stay or go, doesn't matter, as AT will move on.

Just my opinion..

The only problem that I have is when you put up posts like THIS

I hate to break it to you buddy, but with an attitude like that, you can expect to get flamed occasionally. That being said, IMHO whether you stay or go shouldn't be decided by a poll.

I think you should stay, continue fighting with Red, and just leave eakers alone. Can you put that on the poll? :)

Sorry if this is harsh... but for the record I don't want you to leave.

Here's the deal dude... you are INFLEXIBLE. In your opinions and attitudes you're one of those people that will go down with the ship just because it's yours.

It's like even when you are shown to be wrong or when you get called on not practicing what you preach you're so stubborn that you won't own up to it. Or you do own up to it and then say something like "well that's tough sh!t... that's the way I live my life" etc. That's annoying to people. Most especially when you espouse such conservative Christian beliefs but then turn around and act decidedly un-Christian.

I guess some people think that kind of stubbornness is valiant... I, for one, do not. Honestly, to me it makes you look more vulnerable than if you could simply admit that you DON'T have all the answers all of the time. People who put up walls have something very fragile behind them they're trying to protect.

I always thought your trolls and flamebait on here was intentional to get attention (and who knows, maybe it was). But if you want it to stop then you need to step away from the keyboard and seriously look at the way you respond to other people around here. Look at the textbook cases of Texmaster and that NightFlyer fellow.

Yet here you go again... rather than consider modifying your attitude and sticking around, you choose instead to leave. I got news for you--you're going to have the same problems any other place you'll be interacting with other people (Internet or IRL). Get off your high horse and try mingling with the commoners. Realize that you're no better than any other person that ever roamed this earth. If you want other people to like you then you need to learn how to relate to them.

Getting along with others requires mutual respect.

I don't think people dislike you for your opinions, but for the bullish way you force them onto people.

If a thread pops up about a strip club, as much as you hate them, you tend to post more than anyone and just flame every person who does. You have the right to have your opinion, but so does everyone else. You feel you're superior because of them. That's why people dislike you.

BINGO!!!bye-bye nik, can't say I'll miss you...don't let the internet lock slam you on the ass on your way out!!!

Hey FFMCobalt, is this your easy way of copping out now that you're a "lifer"? ;) :D

Sometimes you get on people's nerves, but there are some people who dislike you simply because of your belief system and the fact that you state it boldly. Ignore these people and stick around. Maybe the alternative remedy is to cut down a bit on your posts; after all, you're already a lifer. :p Stick around.

Dude with over 17000 posts you must have had plenty to say. I am sure people did not disagree with all of it. I say the heck with people. Arguments are what people read.. like accidents in car racing... it is what people wait for. When a good flame war get going people sit back read and laugh out loud. Sometimes they make posts to fuel the fire. That is my take.

Nice post, but can you provide examples? I'm sorry, I'm not into the politics of AT too much.
