edit: this is reffering to the 40oz's, i never tried a can (they dont sell cans here)

I have tried the Colt. Didn't really care for it. As a matter of fact, I don't think that I have ever had a malt liquor that I have liked. Not for sure on this point but I think it is the case.
Is Mickeys malt liquor?

I just looked up Mickeys. Yes they are malt liquor so please ignore my ramblings about not ever liking any malt liquors. I am somewhat slow right now due to the effects of Glen.Glenlivet to be exact.

BTW, if you are going to get a malt liquor (Mickeys for me obviously) a 40 IS the only way to go about it.

A while back I was into experimenting with different varieties of the 40 ounce variety.

Colt 45 - Didn't like it, not very strong as far as malts go.

Steel Reserve - This is the ultimate malt beer in my area... 8.1% alcohol by volume! Two 40 ounce bottles knocked me on my ass! Taste is tolerable

King Cobra - Decent for malt beer, tastes a lot like Bud (both made by Anheuser Busch), good &quot;beginners beer&quot; at 5.9%

I'm not sure what it is about malt liquor, but the &quot;40 oz&quot; varients of beer as well as the &quot;girlie&quot; fruit and lemonaide malt &quot;beverages&quot; don't sit well with me. After one or two 12oz bottles, I just get tired and get a headache. Anymore, I just avoid them.

I can drink &quot;Regular&quot; beer like Coors Light and Miller all night without it bothering. There's just something about those malts...they sit heavier I think.

Colt 45 - Last time I was in Montreal I had that Carling 9% stuff, whew lookout! The strongest stuff around here is Steel Reserve though

All malt liquor is pretty rank.

Alhough all malt liquors are tolerable if you just wanna get knocked off yer ass for cheap. Mickey's is probably the best I've had, but thats not saying much. The worst is without a doubt Old English.:disgust:
