Do you make your own coffee or do you buy it? (e.g. Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks etc)

If you make it yourself do you use Instant Coffee or do you buy the whole coffee bean and grind it?

i don't grind at home, but often i'll buy beans and get them to grind them. then i'll use my espresso machine to make coffee.

I grind and make mine at home. If I forget to set it up the night before, I'll stop at a local bakery that will refill my travel mug for $.50.

I make it at home (either grind or use preground). I fill my travel mug and a thermos container every morning. The crap they have at work is nothing more than brown water. It's disgusting.

On the weekend, I grind and brew my own coffee. During the work week, I just get it at the office (we have the Heurig single cup brewer).

I just use the stuff i find at home that is Instant Coffee or pre-grind, but i was thinking of switching and getting the whole beans and grind it myself.

Just got to find the grinder... 30$ for a grinder seems like a lot?

I buy mine, but sometimes on weekends I use the coffee maker @ home. it's hard not to just go to Tim's though - stuff is like crack I tell 'ya.

edit: actually, crack has a better aftertaste.

I don't drink coffee every day. Don't get me wrong, I need my caffeine fix once I get to work, I just don't have time to make it at home very often. Usually I stick with Mountain Dew, but probably about once per week I will buy crappy vending machine coffee, and once per week I'll grind/brew coffee at home (on the weekend usually)

I buy green coffee and roast it myself with a roaster set up in my garage. Makes the whole neighborhood smell like coffee.

I own a grinder and love to buy whole bean coffee from the grocery store. So many flavors, all good. I will occasionally buy folgers coffee in a can if we are having company over, but I will never use instant coffee for any reason.

Both.

I just can't seem to duplicate drinks I can get at Starbucks et al. They're much more tasty, but when I just need some caffeine I don't mind brewing some up.

why does your poll not include pre-ground automatic drip in a can??
It is different from that instant crap you stir into hot water like cool-aid.

BTW has anyone ever tried coffee singles? Fresh ground coffee in a large tea-bag style thing... Dunk it, dip it, go
