POLL: Close encounters of any kind

I forget what show I recently saw (TLC or discover channel) but it said that over 10 million people, or Americans have seen a UFO, I don't recall the exact statistic.

A close encounter of the first kind: UFOs are witnessed at close quarters but they do not affect the environment. The progression of encounters becomes more invasive.

Have you ever had a 'close encounter' ?

I've had a few weird-looking people offer me a "closet encounter," but I don't suppose that counts.
