I just bought a real one :) My first time ever, I'm no longer a real tree virgin ;)

It's not a repost.. since last year. ;)

We always get a real tree. But I doubt we'll get a tree this year, for like the 5th year in a row. It's just too much trouble.. there isn't enough room in this small house.

Actually..

What most people don't realize(including the extremeist "tree huggers" unfortunately), is that christmas tree farms are a good thing, because they're exactly that.. farmed. They're much better than fake christmas trees.

Real christmas trees actually serve a purpose while they are growing. They absorb carbon dioxide and other gasses. They don't use non-renewable petroleum products. Fake trees are generally manufactured outside the US. Fake trees take up space in landfills when they are thrown away, instead of being turned to mulch or otherwise disentigrating, etc...
