Poll: Cell phone, public bathroom, talk while doin yer thing?

Okay, at work here, on more than one occasion, I have had the pleasure of relieving myself in the restroom when in walks some twit talking on his cell. Now all fine and dandy, but rather than saying, "Hey, can I call you back in a few?" the conversation continues on on the way into the stall and throughout, to the sink (at least hands were washed) and out the door without skipping a beat. 10-15 minutes of talk time while... yeah, you know.

Mind you, the restroom here is PUBLIC. We're in a leased building on the 3rd floor, with at least one other company suite up here.

It's one thing when you're at home talking to your sister who always seems to bring out the best in you... but in a public place, at work?

And for those in the restroom - all of a sudden the sanctity of my most, um, private moments are stipped away.

I've noticed this growing trend... it is thoroughly frightening.

So I empower this ATOT poll. Where does your ettiquette stand?

If I wasn't already in the bathroom and wasn't about to burst, I'd just wait and go when I was off the phone.

However if I was already in teh bathroom when I got a call, I'd answer and tell them I'll call them back...

I see this all the time at my work. I would never do it unless I knew the person I was talking to very well.

as a matter of fact yesterday i had that happen but in a weird way...i go into the restroom and hear a guy giggling like a little girl in the handicap stall and he was saying something like oh yeah oh yeah......

i swear i thought he had someone else in there with him..i was about to turn around and get the fvck ou when i realized he was on the phone...

it was just weird...

Yeah, it's really annoying when someone is yapping away on their cell in a restroom. The next time I see someone doing this, I'm making loud farting noises.

I've done it once or twice, but only in times of desperation... under normal circumstances I'd ask to call back.

in that situation, I just wouldn't answer. I would call them back when I was done. I love caller id 🙂

When somebody starts answering their phone in the restroom, that's when I start breaking 'em off like a bull in a china shop.

You should have given a couple courtesy flushes while he was in there. Where are your manners? :laugh:

I think it's in extremely bad taste to talk to someone on the phone in the bathroom. Shows a complete lack of class IMO.

I also would not answer the phone if it rang in the bathroom.

Everyday when i got him from work, I take my daily poop and if im on the phone(BT headset) with one my uncles I just tell them im pooping they dont care. But if it was my mom or my g/f I just tell them I will call them back, and they know why 😉

BTW my uncles and I i very close in age so they are like brothers to me incase you though it was weird
