I have tried to OC the celeron 566 to 850 but it can't boot at all.

I tried OC to 705 with 83 FSB without increase any voltage but the temperature is too high even though i have a golden orbital heatsink and fan.

What can I do to OC to 850 and keep the temperature as low as possible??

My specs is:

Celeron 566A with golden orbital heatsink and fan
Abit SE6 i815E
PC133 128 mbRam
ATI Rage Fury Pro 32mb
SB Live!
IBM 20 gig ATA 66
Linksis 10/100 NIC with WOL

Thanks for your replies..

2 possibilities:
Need latest drivers for Sblive, as the ones in Liveware 2.0 will not work with that cpu or the cpu is one that will not do the dance. If it is getting hot, that is one indicator that it's not happy overclocking. Be sure you're using thermal compound and the Golden Orb is locked all the way into place.

Not all Celeron 566's are guaranteed to OC to 850.
And exactly, how hot is "very hot"? Can you give us the degrees?

NO! That cpu is way warmer than even the 566 @ 850 I test. Usually, mine are 34c to 40c. You'll never get that CPU to overclock at those temps. I'd try a different CPU. You have a dud, unfortunately. :(
