I'm lazy and drive a 2000. Cheap no-touch car washes are good enough for me.

I do both on my 95 Oldsmobile, if I have the time to hand wash it I do but most of the time I'm lazy and just take it to the car wash :p

Would you?

If it's free and you have to fill up gas anyway and you car is dirty, why not?

But yeah, on the weekend or something do it nice by hand

I laugh at you losers who drive old cars and still get the hand wash. How about buying a new car?

Hand wash while I'm at home, carwash while I'm away at school, no other choice.

How about... taking care of your car?

I take my 91 topaz to the DIY wash. Love the pressure washer for a month of two's worth of dirt :D

Car wash (only the "touch-free" ones), plus the rare hand-wash. Also, I hand-wash the car myself maybe 3-4 times a year.

<--- Lazy :p

HAHAHA. Classic

But...

I use the 2-bucket method. One for the rinsing the mitt, one for the car soap. Plus I have a good $150-200 in cleaners, polishers, waxes, etc......I love washing my car.

That's true, however it's not my fault your poor. Perhaps if you spend a little less time washing your Sh!tty car you could earn some overtime?

&$*@ hand washing. I have better things to do with my time and I don't drive a Porsche. $4 car wash at the local Amoco does the wash/underbody/wheel clean-rocker wash/wax and does a DAMN good job. I just get out and spray the wheels with some Turtle Wax wheel cleaner before I let the water jets hit it, then I'm done. I let it air dry on the freeway at 70MPH on the way home b/c the station is right near I-440.
