Ok .... I am going crazy here. Here is the network topology.
I have a Telocity X2 DSL router connected to the DSL line.
This is connected via Ethernet to a 8-port hub. This in turn is configured in a a star
network to selct rooms in the house.
Room #1 is my den is that has a hub and is connected to my computer. It connects to DSL
fine. Room #2 is my wife's office and it is connected straight into her NIC (no hub). This
computer file shares with my Den computer fine. This means the physical link is ok.
No matter what I do, I cannot get my wife's computer to connect to the Internet. I cannot
even ping the router. I removed Dial-up networking, went through the Internet Wizard,
turned off my computer to ensure there was only one on the network ... nothing !
Telocity will not help, saying that they do not support this.
Any ideas ??? I need to get her on the Internet ... other than Dial-up.
