I have not chosen a car because it had PS or chose PS as an option. Of the three cars I have owned two came with PS as pert of the pacakage.

Depends on the car. My old roomate had a 91 Ford Escort with no PS that was also a manual, but it was no big deal. When it went out on my Dakota on the other hand, well that was a different story.

I owned a 1972 Dodge pickup,and a 1966 GTO,that both did not have power steering,
and those 2 vehicles i wished did;but,any other car i have had that didn't,was no prob.


Oh,I am buying a used lawn mower,that does not have power steering.LOL;
it will be my forst riding mower,I must be getting old. ;)

Yes. I don't like power steering. It feels like the steering wheel is about to come off. You get a feel for the road without it. ;)
