I can drive a manual, but if I try to drive a car with auto I end up slamming on the brakes when I would normally use the clutch.

What are "breaks"?

Are these located near the brakes? I hope they brake the car and don't break the car, because having broken brakes would suck.

Actually, I've been driving a manual tranny for so long it takes me a little while to get adjusted to driving and automatic.

You shouldn't have that problem, because you should be used to pushing the brake with your right foot. Just pin your left foot to the floor.

I drive stick, and auto just fine. Though I keep trying to rev match for shifts while turning...

Currently driving an auto, have been for ~18 months

Can hop into any manual and pick up the clutch just like that though...some people I know take weeks to get used to a car....!
