is $5 worth an indefinate amout of time later? id bite.

also does buy.com have free shipping on it, they usually do for big items
 
I bought once from buy.com...never again.

I have bought from newegg more times than I will ever admit, and will keep doing so.

Newegg has got some complaints recently about shipping/prices, etc. so it's not the best of the best anymore. There maybe better solutions for quality online retailers. One that comes to mind is Monarch.😎

EDIT buy. com is a lot worse than newegg.com🙂

And those same people will tell you they want free stuff shipped to them priority overnight. I made 2 orders from them this month, same old newegg, fast shipping, kick ass service. Just 'cause newegg want shipping now doesn't mean they've gone down the hill.

Ps. Monarch doesn't allow removal of retail heatsink for AS5 application, and they keep the FX stickers to themselves. Bastards.
 
Well, the $5 is inconsequential and really just an afterthought. I could give a crap about $5 extra dollars, although feel free to paypal it to me if you wish. I was mainly just wondering how superior newegg is to buy.com. I've never purchased anything from buy.com and wasn't sure how good they were. If they are comparable to newegg then I'd go ahead and buy it now. If not, I'll wait. newegg's ETA for what I want is 1/20...are they generally on the ball as far as keeping up with the ETAs?

Then ask that question. New Egg owns Buy.com by a large margin.

But.... for $5 I'd go ahead and get it now, assuming it is in stock. I use Buy.com but prefer New Egg.
 
definitely newegg, buy.com sucks, they'll be out of stock on an item but will never send you a cancellation letter, I had an item that was "sent to warehouse" for 6 months 😕
