I own both DVD's, and while Patriot isn't bad by any means, Braveheart is still in my top 3 movies of all time I think.

Pretty much. For some reason, I really thought the Patriot was average. I thought Braveheart was excellent though, much better. this one's a no contest for me.

i'm far from any kind of war buff, and have seen both movies. I really enjoyed Braveheart, and felt that The Patriot was a clone of Braveheart, give or take.
