Book or Movie in what context? As in...is the Book better than the movie based on it....if so, yes the book is always better than the movie like 99% of the time. Jurrasic Park/Lost World - book was better. Lord of the Rings - Book(s) better. Congo - book was better. Andromeda Strain - Book was better. The Manchurian Candidate - Book was better. List goes on and on.

Tom Clancy Book > Tom Clancy Movie even though most movies were very good, esp. Hunt for Red October.

generally speaking, the book.

the only movie that comes to mind for being better than the book is Fight Club.

hm. see, there's another where I think the movies are better than the books.

but I guess it's really comparing apples to oranges. the movies don't even really involve any of the same stories as the books (except for the character of Jason Bourne and the idea that he doesn't know who he is... though in the books, he finds out in like the first book)

While the Bourne movies have been quite good...I don't think that they are better than the books.

Fight Club's has had a rep of the movie being better than the book. Nobody should buy a copy because the things you own wind up owning you :)
