Poll: BF2 Server Test...can you see if you can get on?

could you guys see if you could get on this home based practice server, most of my gaming friends are out of town and i would like to verify that outside peeps can get on it.

it is setup as 64 player for the huge map sizes but it can probably run 10-12 peeps due to my bandwidth limitations.

ip address is: bf2.sytes.net - this is not the server name, just put this into the area in the "connect to ip" option that asks for an ip.

if you could answer the poll question i would greatly appreciated it. if you answered no, could you please tell me what the error message stated?

thanks in advance 🙂

Might work better if you post the IP. (70.176.71.63)

[HMF] practice server? Connects just fine 🙂

I put bf2.sytes.net where it said to enter the IP and it connected just fine. I didn't know if it was going to work or not, so I guess I learned something new today.

So did I. The person who voted no probably thought bf2.sytes.net was the NAME of the server and not the address. I know I searched for the name first. I have no doubt that others will or already have made the same mistake.

thanks for the input and also the testing - put bf2.sytes.net into the "connect to ip" box as the ip, it should work just fine 🙂

i just use the no-ip.com address because every so often my isp changes my ip as it is not static
