google by far. for those of you using the google toolbar you know it sends anonymous information about your browsing to google. i dont find it to be a big deal because they clearly state this when you download and install the toolbar unlike some companies.

I use hotbot.com daily. Probably just habit, but it always finds what I need.

I use altavista when searching for images or sounds.

anyone ever tried copernic 2000? it searches multiple engines at the same time. i use it for school all the time, and it never fails me. one of the things i like about it is it updates its search engines each time you use it. give it a look if you've never seen it!

I use google now & then, but WebFerret is good since it`s a multi search engine.

I'll vote for google again. It hits the mark almost everytime, and if not it's in the first 20 links. I think it beats the **it out of any multi search engine. And the simple uncluttered interface make it a breath of fresh air. You can't go wrong with Google

I think it depends on what you a searching for.

I personally like Northern Lights for academic searches.

Google, accurate, clean, fast, and doesnt turn up millions of hits with all sorts of junk you dont want.
