I couldn't pick one song, and as far as member changes, you hear it more on the album than you do live, to hear Dogs of War right after Astronomy Domine LIVE is to hear the extreme similarity, totally bridges the time gap. One of if not my favorite all time bands, won't bother checking the list against my collection to see what was not included, are the songs from the extra disc in the 10cd box set included in your list????? How about a little Floyd trivia...... Original name of See Emily Play?? Bonus points for anyone who knows the story that led to the title change........
Are you a Tom Wolfe fan? :p

Well yes I am a Tow Wolfe fan, lol, but knew that well before, great job though, I stump alot of "hard core" Floyd fans with that question..... Know the story?

A place to stay
enough to eat
somewhere old heroes shuffle safely down the street
where you can speak out loud
about your hopes and fears
and whats more no one ever disappears
you never hear their standard issue kicking in the door
you can relax
on both sides of the tracks
and maniacs don't blow holes
in bandsmen by remote control
and everyone has recourse to the law
and no one kills the children anymore
and no one kills the children anymore

Ack - I voted for "Money", but I was never into them, and the quickest way for a classic rock station to get me to change the station is to play Pink Floyd..

I am sooooo tired of hearing them..

not sure about the story... i read something today on some site about a girl in the woods named Emily. I guess Barret found her alluring

That's sort of been an undercurrent in this thread: casual Floyd listeners- we'll say people that have never ownad a Floyd album, for instance, know of them only for tracks like 'Money'.
Brain Damage and Eclipse, which, btw,are two different songs ;), are often played on the radio, too, though, and I think those songs are awesome.
Eh, if it's not your thing, though, no big deal :)

Well, I love that box set. Looking at The Early Singles CD, I forgot to add Apples and Oranges, Candy and a Currant Bun, and It Would Be So Nice. The 2 that I left out on purpose were the two MC tracks on Is There Anybody Out There?

BTW, I don't know how the list got rather out of order, it was by album but now it seems like some of The Wall is near the top. weird.
