the BBC is DAMN impressive.

besides looks, i like the fact that you can read in urdu, pashto, hindi, etc....

For features and layout, the BBC wins hands-down.

Reuters also deserves honorable mention, a nice-looking dark blue theme that isn't overdone like MSNBC or Fox News.

If applicable, I'd like to throw in my vote for news.google.com. Its more of a central news site with links to thousands of others, but I like the look, and the idea.
 

I just discovered the BBC recently as the best source for unbiased news, but I also fell in love with its layout.

I Just want my news fast loading, so I usually just use the wap version of yahoo for quick news.
