i used to think it was the jumbo jack, but i have recently been converted to the bliss that is a quarter pound deluxe double stack... more meat, cheese, better sauce... omg it is good.

They are good.

I voted for the Deluxe Double Stack though.

The Whopper isn't that bad when its only 99 cents, either. I don't usually get burgers from fast food joints though. My dad makes better hamburgers than any garbage food restaurant 😛
 
Well a few problems:
Wendy's doesn't have that for $.99.
Big Xtra's are so sh*tty they shouldn't be considered.
Burger King (in my area anyhow) doesn't have Whoppers for $.99 usually. No daily special with it anymore. Once in a while on a special but now I see today the sign said $.99 Whopper Jr.'s. Duh, those are ALWAYS $.99. Trying to trick ya I tell ya!

Solutions:
Get a real McD's sandwich up there, like the tasty McChicken.
Wendy's has a $.99 bacon cheesburger. Thing is godly for $.99!
Hardee's has daily specials for $.99 and several of them are a good bargain like double cheesburger, big cheeseburger, hot ham n' cheese. Mmm...!

Hmm...I think I'll need to have some Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers tomorrow.

The only thing better is back in college when Wendy's used to do the "Hold 'Em Heels Deal." The day after a Carolina basketball victory, Wendy's would sell Carolina Classics (burger with cheddar, chili, onions, slaw, and mustard) for $.99 (normally $2.49). One day, my roomie and I went to Wendy's bought 10 of them, and proceeded to eat ourselves sick. 😀

I don't think I've ever bought a 99 cent burger, but I know what I'd pick for "best Burger/fries/drink combo under $5"
 
has anybody else noticed a drop-off in the quality of BK's whoppers since the 99 cent deal started? before, they were always teh tastiest by far. but now, they are always cold and stale and generally crappy tasting. boooo.
 
Whoppers were on special for 99 cents here until about a week ago. That deal is dead.

I haven't seen this 1/4 double stack at Wendy's and the junior bacon cheeseburger is too small.

I would vote for Carl's Jr. but you need to add it.

and i can't believe some of you guys don't have the double stack for 99 cents.... that's horrible. it's been 99 cents here for as long as i can remember...
