Poll: Auto Shutdown...Power Supply??

I just bought a new rig problem is my system keeps shutting down for no apparent reason and to think I've even bought a 300 w ps to replace the 230 w that comes with the case.Do you think the power supply has anthing to do with it cause I've installed quite a few fans and I'm thinking that 300 w isnt enough or is it my motherboard ? What do you think?.

try unplugging the power on some things such as dvd, cdrw, extra fans. see if it still shuts down.

Well, looking at your sig, it may be a good idea to change the 230, let me go out on a limb here and say that your problems are because of the power supply. People have problems running things on a 250 and you have a 230 so it sure looks like it, either get the antec pp303x from onvia.com for $38 or the whisper enermax 330 from phamcomputer.com, for $64. The antec is more value and is very good, the enermax is quieter and cools your case more. I have both and they are excellent choices.
