Neither....I'd prefer to have incredible stamina/endurance. That's what makes an athlete. ;)

Alright...since it's sport independent...then I'll say it depends on the position you are playing :p

A few sports benefit from bubba beefcakes, but in general, there really isn't a sport that would turn down a very quick athlete whereas being super strong and butt slow wouldn't work in many sports.

Seems obvious to me... you can't outrun a car no matter how fast you are, but you could buckle down and stop it with your bare hands if you were strong.

The amazing thing about chuck norris and bruce lee is their incredible speed. They can punch so fast that it doesn't matter how big/strong you are. You are going D o W n.

speed rules.

In wrestling...not that WWE/WWF crap...but real wrestling like you see in High School and College I would give the nod to the stronger guy over the faster guy...given the same weights.

NOBODY but nobody could really stop a car moving at 40 mph.

I said speed, and I don't even play sports.

KE=mv^2

double mass = double kinetic energy

double speed = quadruple kinetic energy

I'd have to dissagree with this statement I wrestled back in HS a good some of the moves were just about impossible to get out of if u weren't quick enough to react to them. Strength may help you a little bit here but most of the pinning moves required you to move faster than the other guy to have it work right. Strength may help you not get pinned but ur only going to be using your strength trying to unpin ur self.

Yeah, seriously. It really depends on the sport. Some require one, some require both. There's no hard and fast rule.
