For about 10 years. ;)

Actually, better memory, heatsink, and a bigger hard drive is what this machine needs.

Isn't bigger and faster always the goal? Or is it more power? Hey, do they make 1000w power supplies? :D

If I got an IBM 75GXP, a Pioneer DVD-115, and another 128 MB or RAM I would be happy for a quite a while.

.....a 24" Sony FW900 monitor wouldn't hurt either. :)

Yes, although I would like to upgrade the CPU soon. I have a Celly 400 OC'ed to 500 on an Abit BM6 mobo, 192 MB Ram, a Hercules Geforce (at 83 Mhz FSB) OC'ed to 210 core, 220 Ram. This provides for very decent frame rate at 1024*768 16 or 32 bpp. We have AMD & Intel 650's @ work, but with all the networking and all the safety crap (Anti-virus), I believe my PC performs extremely well. I know I don't have ''THE'' killer machine but heck, nobody does, because next week, something faster will come out, and the same thing the week after! There is no such thing as the fastest PC on earth. Not long ago I re-read a1 year old magazine (while on the John!) which advertised DELL's new fastest PC on the planet. What a stupid ad!!!!! I personnally don't believe in having the latest and greatest. It's just a waste of hard-earned dollars. It just doesn't make sense. You have to be happy sooner or later, and upgrade when the performance to price ratio is at its best. Just my take!

No, I could use a bigger and faster hd. I'm also thinking about changing my video card.

You can NEVER be satisfied with a computer. There's always something newer you want.

Currently, YES. Because it runs all of my favorite games at least 60FPS at 1024x768x32. Because it does not crash (at least not very often). Because it does everything I want it to do and more.

Overall yes, Not too happy with the overclocking prowess of my CUSL2-C
it does not overclock as good as my previous board at all. I can get a mere 966 :) from my 700E
my old Soyo would push it to 980 no probs. at all. and with less voltage!
One thing I think i need is a GeForce 2 ULTRA :) my rig is built with the intent to run Q3 with as much FPS as possible.

Yup.

TBird 700/850, 384MB RAM, DVDRom, fast enough CDRW, only a V3 but it's got decent 2D and good enough 3D for what I use it for. 75Gigs of HDD space.
Not the fastest, but the games I play it's good enough for :) And it's certainly fast enough for anything else I'd dream up using it for. I do a fair bit of programming, but in Unix mostly, so my PCs just a Terminal then...and most importantly it's very stable and reliable for me :)

I'd like a nice 19" Flatscreen to watch my DVDs on...but I'm sorta waiting for 21" Flatscreens to get cheaper to make a bigger jump over my 17", or maybe just waiting for my 17" to die.

I'd also like 4 point speakers...but I can't find any nice ones that have 4 channel input for gaming and SDPIF input for DVDs, so I'm just going to wait and built a real stereo in a couple years when I'm done school.

So neither of those are really pressing desires.

All in all yes I'm quite satisfied with my rig.
