I'm happier than I've ever been. I have a decent job, a decent basement suite in a good neighbourhood, and no debt.
I don't own the fanciest stuff, but I'm grateful for what I do have.
More importantly though, I have goals that I'm working towards, and some that I've already achieved. I live for new experiences and meeting new people.
I have a loving family and good friends. I'm a bachelor, but I've been on some good dates recently.
Once you focus on what's really important in life - relationships and experiences, life suddenly looks a whole lot better. Looming work deadlines and expensive car repairs really don't matter in the long run.
