No. I'm 23. Worst flu I ever had was earlier this year and I felt bad for a week, but normally I'm fine. I'd not bother personally.

Never had one before, I don't see a reason to get one now

I never had one either.

Last year my 2 co-workers got it - it made them both reaaly sick for 2 or 3 days.....felt like they had a bad flu

Of course! My dad's a doctor, so once a year, he just drops by with needles and vaccine for me and my wife.

My mom's trying to get him to find some smallpox vaccine too. :)

Kidding, right? That seems a terrible hassel immunizing yourself. Plus 1/1000 cases have complications

Sometimes I think I should because the media portrays it as if everybody gets one, but I've never had a flu shot. It's for people with weakened immune systems mainly. My father has to have one because he had chemotherapy a year ago. But my same-aged mother does not have to get one.

Nope, I'm serious. Sure it's a hassle, but it's better than dying.

I heard that people are getting the flu FROM people who have had the shot.

The people who are immunized become carriers in effect.
