it always causes some kind of issue. fortunately for me the biggest one is that i can't stand being around her family because they talk about me in vietnamese, incessantly.

always? maybe with particular combinations, but i have never had issues with so's families and i have only dated women of a different race.
 
I did way back in highschool. I didn't seem to care, and she was adopted into a caucasian family... my mother probably was turning in her grave... but it didn't last long enough to matter.
 
Yes, I'm Chinese and my girlfriend is Vietnamese 🙂. Sounds kinda silly but if you really look at it, it's as arbitrarily trite as when I laid the mack hand down on many a white chick in the past.

well, now that i think about it it's no more common than issues in relationships between any two people.
 
I was banging er I mean dating a Korean chick for a couple months before I met my wife. She was fun. I didn't care who thought what about us. There are so many mixed couples in Los Angeles anyway, it's the norm.

Never dated a Chinese woman (I'm Chinese myself) - a few whites, one half Viet half Pakistani, two Vietnamese, one Filipino. Never caused problems as far as race is concerned.
 
I'm latina and my husband is brit born in Canada.
However because my skin is paler than the average latin american and I have no accent, no one considers us an interracial couple. His family laughs when we say that we are.

But many times the cultural differences are amazingly different. We love it though, it's the spice of our marriage and we celebrate eachother's cultures.

I do wish he could speak spanish to me! it would be so awesome.🙂
