Computer - Klipsch v2.400's & Altec Lansing 880's (With sats disabled, bass only) w/ Acoustic Edge
Home Theater - 2 circa-1987 Big-Ass Sony Floor Speakers, Still pump amazingly well for being 15 years old :)

Computer - headphones so far, until I fix my Klipsch 4.1 amp and hook it up to my speakers (currently CL fps1000 sats).

Home - DIY mains, center, sub, plus the Paradigm-cabinet project I'm gonna build up.

in my car- would like to be but dont have the money...

other than that- i have a sony reciever (hooked up to my tv- dvd player- computer - cd player - and vcr), with a total of 12 speakers in my room (comprised of two homebuilt main speakers- and a mix of Klipcsh, polk, and aiwa speakers) for a total of 1000 watts, and a 250 watt homemade subwoofer. Trust me- for a dorm room- this is extremely excsesive and very annoying to those people who live around me.

i'll try and get pics up later.

edit- and i'm more than just an 'audio'phile.. i'm a home entertainment system-phile

Computer : BA4800's and a SBL value :-\. Got it last year for cheap, don't gimme all yer "Get a z560!" stuff. Even though i really want to now :D

Home: Errr...gonna get flamed again. Some crappy 2 channel Technics reciever (which replaced my old silver circa-1982 technics reciever, which i still love). 2 bose speakers. Nothing spectacular. But the receiver is somewhere else, so i want a system. While i'm here, I might has well take some suggestions for a simple system. I just want one for my room to listen to music with, maybe be able to hook it up to the TV or something. I got 4 Bose speakers (hey, i didn't buy them, nor do i think they pwn everything on the market), so I don't really want to buy more. Maybe a reciever and a sub. What do you d00ds recomment for cheap?

I don't consider myself a audiophile, but definately love my Sennheiser headphones for music/games. I'm also not very picky about MP3 bitrate. If all I can find are 128 bitrate songs, I'm satsified with that. 160+ is nice, but I'm not the type to pick out microscopic flaws in the sound quality and get all bent out of shape.

Guys, look up what the term audiophile means! Having a set of computer speakers does NOT qualify you as an audiophile. Nor does a set of old sony speakers! They couldn't begin to even think about producing audiophilic sound. Every man and his dog these days pretends to be an audiophile!

And if you use MP3's and like the sound of them, you can't even start to say you're an audiophile! Geez...... *shakes head* :)

I said no for the reason that I don't go nuts about speakers. True I have good entry-level audiophile setup, but I don't go crazy. But I do prefer good sound and I like to listen to music, so this is what I got -

Home Theater:
H/K AVR 510 receiver
B&W 303's (Front and Rear)
B&W LCR3 (Center)
Definitive Technology ProSub 100 TL (sub)

Computer:
SB Live! 5.1 X-Gamer using Digital Out only
Midiland S4-8200

Computer - Altec-Lansing ATP-3 3-piece speakers connected to a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz DSP.

Home - NSM Model 50 loudspeakers (American handcrafted, 100% natural wood, crossover components matched to 0.1dB, $1800/pr.) connected to an Onkyo TX-DS474 receiver and a Sony CDP-XA3ES CD player.

I'm an audiophile but not a subjectivist. I trust ABX tests and think that well-made, inexpensive source and amplification components are all that you need. Go hogwild on the loudspeakers.

<< but those are broken! you have to fix em yourself >>

They're not broken, they're just not put together.
They're completely new parts, nothings used or old.
It's almost like buying a kit-car, except these come with way better instructions :)
