Costco gas prices in SoCal are at least $0.15 cheaper per gallon. I buy lots of food there too. The queen-sized Sealy Posturpedic mattress I bought there last week for $499 is $860 at the Sit N' Sleep across the street.

I wish they were open 24 hours a day so I didn't have to compete with the people and all their kids.

That would be cool. It's fvcking amazing how you can walk in and there's NOBODY in line but the MOMENT you decide to leave EVERYONE else does too.

Grrrrr I HATE crowded stores.

Costco = I spend $100 before I leave.

Canned coffee?? Ewwww.
I buy the 3 lb bags of whole bean sumatran for like $8.99.
That alone saves me enough money to make the membership worth it.
Saved $300 on my mattress.
Saved $50 on my 32" Toshiba TV.
Saved $30 on my steam cleaner.
Saved $20 on my dog's bed.
Saved $20 on ink cartridges.
Save at least $7 every time my wife wants a new book.
Not to even mention how much it saves me to be able to buy chicken breasts for less than $3/lb and all of the other food I buy there.
We go about twice a month and probably save $1000 a year shopping there.

Why the hell would anyone NOT be a Costco member?

EDIT: I forgot about the gas. Right now, it's at least 5 cents a gallon cheaper than anywhere else. But at one point in the spring, Costco was selling gas for 20 cents a gallon less than the other stations.

Nope...

But I will be at some point. The potential savings are so worth it.

Absolutely. I live in Cali and was in Atlanta for training and found one there. :)

how does Costco differ from Sam's? I belong to Sam's but they opened a Costco closer to my house.
