Yup, and this thread sucks. Hacker does not mean pirating software, and hacker doesn't mean breaking into systems. The term hacker means someone that has a great passion for software and hardware, being able to mod it to there needs. When people started using this knowledge for a bad thing, the term cracker is used. When you call someone that breaks into your system a hacker, that insults a great many people.

i used to do it for a living (legally) i would write programs to attack our security software to try and cirumvent and disable it.
