I've been to California and Texas. Vast parts of both of them resemble 3rd world countries. You can travel for miles and not hear a single person speaking English.

the majority of the houston population is hispanic, plus, the entire south of the state down in the valley is all mexicans

not to mention the HUGE presence in San antonio and all the border towns

I'll vote Calif, because it has more population than TX, but we have to be pretty close.

The hispanic population in TX recently became the largest minority, surpassing the black population in total #'s.

I still don't get the stereotype of the "lazy hispanic", the ones I know have an excellent work ethic.

according to this site, in 2000 there were 3.4 million more hispanics in cali than in tx

however, both represent about 30% of the state population

california, the Texas force for controlling illegal imigration is far better at finding the "wetbacks" than california's illegal imigration force. Texas probably has more legal imigrants than california tho.
