POLL: are martinis girly drinks?

I've recently found that I am crazy about martinis - any flavor, plain, or dirty. However, it was brought to my attention that some people think these are girly drinks. What say ye?

In my opinion, I guess part of the image problem is that a martini glass is so dainty and fragile. I think I would feel better if I could drink my martinis from a stein.

Most colorful drinks ending with an "i" are girlie drinks. Martini. Beliini, etc. A straight martini is acceptable for a man though.

They aren't. On a side note I just turned 21 so I am building up a bar and just spent $200 on liquer and I forgot vermouth.

Here's what I got: Baileys, Polar Ice Vodka, Jack Daniels, Jose Cuervo, Gin, Grenadine, Southern Comfort, Seagram's 7, Smirnoff Black Cherry Vodka, Bacardi Select Rum, and Kahlua.

What did I forget? other than vermouth. Can anyone recommend a good brandy/cognac? I saw tons of brands couldn't tell what is good.
