Poll: Anyone play Starcraft here?

Ya i've had Starcraft since 99.. i quit playing it sometime in early 2000... but a year later, i got bored of all these dumb games i never really got adjusted too...

So, i went back on battle.net, installed the new 1.08 patch and it seems just as addictive as it was then...

I still it play again once in a while with friends. The game is addicting yes, but so is the story. I can't wait for the sequel.

I play. I stopped playing for a few months when my gaming group turned into a bunch of lamers, but now I'm back and I play every once in awhile. Even trying to start a new group. Oh, don't bother challenging me. I'm awful.

never tried starcraft, but used to play warcraft, warcraft III is coming soon as well, will be intresting

not anymore. all friends play is CS. people get cable just for the purpose of low pping. very sad. they IM me and say, what to do with bandwidth!? CS is boring..

I swear I uninstall/installed it at least 8 times.. NO exaggeration..

throughout past 3 years.. crazy addictive..

I just installed it AGAIN.. after 2 months of *resisting* not to play..

I haven't played it yet though.. prolly tonite..

everyone asks about the sequel but i'm almost sure there was never any mention of Starcraft 2... in fact i doubt their even thinking about it... not this or next year atleast.

It is out of question that they WILL make SC2..

The secret level in Broodwar revealed lots of things about the future of Zerg and Protoss and upcoming race Protoss/Zerg Hybrid created by Xel'Naga (the creator of both) it stirred up lots of commotion about the sequel.

As for official news, Blizzard has confirmed that they do plan to revisit SC universe in the future (stated in battle.net FAQ) It is simply a matter of WHEN

With WarIII coming out prolly winter2001/early spring 2002.. SC won't come out til I say about.. 2004-5.

Once again.. it is out of the question.. they WILL make one.. So much money is involved in previous success.. and Blizz wants that money bad.. It is just a matter of when

i only quit playing SC cuz at one time i had a drive crash and couldnt recover my savegames and i got almost to the end.. damn it!

Used to. I never played it enough to get good. There's so much strategy, breadth, and depth that it's a little overwhelming.
