I myself am going to see it because I'm a fan of the series, however, I'm not so happy that Steven Speilberg was not the director, although he did help out on set. Other than the weird storyline it has, the movie looks amazing, more dinosaurs, more special effects, more gore. My kind of sequel!

I plan on seeing it opening day at 11:00AM. Or whenever the first showing is. Not because I am such a freak about JP but I want to beat the rush that comes in at 2-3.
The first one was great, the second one stunk, this third one looks pretty good though.
We'll see...

YES!!! Another movie with no substance and entirely special effects.

I already have seen it. Its better than #2 but not as good as #1. The raptors have become smart enough to do long division now it seems.

I've heard its actually suppose to be a sequal to the first one, which is why dr.grant is in it. The storyline is about saving someones brother and the plane crashes on the island something along those lines.

Dinosaurs = smarter = talk to each other = set up traps = chaos = one crazy movie.

I remember the quote from the trailer:

what is that? Tyranosaurus?

No.. it sounds bigger

ummmm.. I don't think any carnivores are bigger than TRex.. Am I not right?

Herbivores are different story.. Brontosaurus, Apartosaurus.. are 2x - 4x bigger than TRex.. but NO CARNOVORES ARE BIGGER THAN TREX

I believe this = lame propaganda

Well, those dinosaurs supposedly have mutated or something... so they are not your average dinosaurs...

WRONG!

There is one thats bigger then the t-rex. I forgot itss name, but its the one in the animated move Dinosours (The one with horns). (saw a documentary on Discovery channel).

EDIT, its not the one in the movie Dinosours. My bad.

The dinosaurs look worse... at least the anamotronic ones; very fake. As far as the story line of them being smart and communicating... what b.s. I'm definetly gonna see it because I saw the first two. Nothing can beat the first one, however.

You are right, it's called like "hugeosaurs" or something, there is one though. It does exsist.

I'm going to see it.

And I wouldn't worry about the lack of Spielberg, it's not like "The Lost World" was much better because of him. Worst movie I've ever seen. :disgust:

I think it's looks pretty promising...I want to see the part where the T-rex fights that other bigger dinosaur...that'd be tight

No, it's not an alleosaurus. It's a spinosaurus. Has a ridge of spines along its back that look like they're covered in skin. You know that picture of tea leoni and the rest of the cast in the plane trying to back away from the dinosaur (whoes mouth you can see?) that's the spinosaurus. I was channel surfing saturday night, and I saw a short scene with it from the movie. It looks bad ass, much more "terrifying" then the trex (at least in the scene I saw, where they were trying to outrun it after seeing it the first time, one got under the fense, and the others ran along the other side..htey got to a hole in the fencing, and got through, just as it stick its head through snapping at them. Looked VERY cool.

I may have to see it...we'll see. Im waiting for the AT forum review force to let me know what they though
